Lemon Chicken Por Favor is Melbourne, Australian based illustrator and graphic designer, Tonia Composto.
Tonia’s illustration universe is full of colour, humour, irony and explosive energy. She is known to confidently create imperfect, bold and gritty artwork with a retro vibe. She combines reality with a quirky point of view to bring her audience closer to the situations and environments she creates.
Tonia takes her influences and inspiration from a mixture of ancient European and Egyptian art, merged with the colours and shapes from the 1960s & 70s.
She loves working in the digital application, Illustrator, but also adores the traditional methods of drawing and printmaking.
She illustrates for events and festivals, advertising, packaging, education, publishing, lifestyle and branding.
Tonia is the creator of GoGo Zine, a 16 page fully illustrated mini mag for middle readers.
She lives in Thornbury, Melbourne, with husband Mat, daughters Nina & Paloma, their dog Eddie and three chooks.
